This year marks the 37th running of this alliance between New York Road Runners and Front Runners New York, a competitive and social club for LGBT runners, multisport athletes, and their allies. Join more than 5,000 runners and show your pride at this five-mile run in Central park. Whether you’re a top racer or a novice looking for a healthy run and some good camaraderie, the Pride Run delivers the goods.
Front Runners New York will be making a donation to this year’s race beneficiary, True Colors Fund. Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper, the True Colors Fund is working to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth, creating a world where all young people can be their true selves. Through a wide array of advocacy, training and education, and youth collaboration programs, the True Colors Fund works to ensure that no young person is homeless due to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Event hashtag: #FRNYPrideRun—use it in your tweets, Instagrams, and Facebook posts!
Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org and in the NYRR app. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and get unofficial results right after the race!
Join Front Runners New York at their annual Happy Hour FUNdraiser on Thursday, June 7 from 6:00–10:00 p.m. at Boxer’s NYC. The event will raise money for the Front Runners New York LGBT Pride Run (5M) and their 2018 beneficiary, True Colors Fund.
If you miss your chance to register for this year's race, this will be your last chance to get in—FRNY will be raffling off five entries, as well as many other great prizes! For more information, check out the Facebook event.
