Take a tour of Central Park by running the entire Ted Corbitt Loop at the NYRR Manhattan 10K. Yes, all the park's beautiful hills are included! Harlem Hill, the Three Sisters, and Cat Hill are all yours to climb up and coast down on Sunday, February 4.

The premium for this race will be a long sleeve tech T-shirt.

For the 2024 program, we’ve received the allocated 1,000 qualified applications and the application process is now closed to the public. Numbers (which include your timing tag) may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates:

Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines. 

All participants will receive a New Balance Long Sleeve Shirt at number pickup. Your shirt size may not be available at the time of bib pickup.

On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30–8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located near the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park. If you pick up your bib on race day, your premium will be available after the race.

Race Day


Race-Day Number Pickup Policy

 

On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30–8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located near the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park.

Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race. Runners arriving to pick up their bib after that time will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit for the race.

Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account.

The race will start on East Drive near East 69th Street and complete a full counter-clockwise lap of the park. After completing the six-mile loop of the park, runners will turn left onto the 72nd Street Transverse toward the finish line.

Bag Check

 

Bag check will be available at Race-Day Central, near the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park, starting at 6:30 a.m.

Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed.

NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.

Results and Awards

 

Live, unofficial results will be available in the NYRR Racing App and at liveresults.nyrr.org during the event.

After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org.

Awards will be presented on site to the top-three finishers in the overall men, women, and non-binary divisions. Runners who place in the top-three of their age group will be able to claim an award in the days following the race by filling out our Age-Group Awards Claim Form

Prize Money

 

All prize money amounts equal for men, women, and non-binary categories. To be eligible for prize money and time bonuses, including Top Manhattan Finisher, a runner must have been a NYRR member for at least three months prior to race day, including the date of the race, and must complete the course in 42 minutes or less. All prize money divisions determined by Gun Time. Eligibility requirements for all prize money and bonuses are available here.

Top Manhattan Finisher

The top man, woman, and non-binary finisher from Manhattan will be awarded $500. Residency is determined by zip code at the time of registration. Cumulative with overall prize money, if applicable.

 

Time Bonuses

A $100 time bonus is available for the men's, women's and/or non-binary's race winners who break the existing event record, based on Gun Time. The bonus is available to the race winner only. An athlete must break, not tie, the record to earn the bonus.

4 Out of 6 Program

 

The 4 Out of 6 program allows NYRR members who meet the eligibility requirements to gain guaranteed entry to the United Airlines NYC Half.

Eligibility for entry to the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who complete four qualifying events in 2024 and have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2024 4 Out of 6 program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on October 13, 2023).

The following races in 2024 will count toward 4 Out of 6 program qualification for the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half (Please note all dates are pending permit approval and subject to change):

  • NYRR Manhattan 10K (February 4)
  • Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Medal (Dates TBD)
  • United Airlines NYC Half (March 17)
  • Virtual RBC Brooklyn Half Medal (Dates TBD)
  • RBC Brooklyn Half (May 18)
  • Citizens Queens 10K (June 15)
  • New Balance Bronx 10 Mile (September 15)

Cancellation

 

If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.

No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
