At the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K, you’ll be a part of the world-famous TCS New York City Marathon. Runners will zip through the streets of Manhattan, and finish at the famed Marathon finish line in Central Park—without running 26.2 miles!
On TCS New York City Marathon Saturday, the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K will take place for all runners who want to join in the marathon festivities. You can take a high-speed tour of midtown Manhattan en route to a spectacular finish in Central Park. Friends and family, marathoners and non-marathoners—all are welcome.
USATF 5K Championships
New York Road Runners is proud to host the 2019 USATF 5K Championships for men and women, featuring Team USA Olympians and national record-holders vying for $60,000 in prize money and the title of USA champion.
Please note: Only U.S. citizens are eligible for the USATF 5K Championships and entry is by invitation only.

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and get unofficial results right after the race!
Photos will be captured by MarathonFoto and will be available for purchase in the days following the race. Visit the race page on MarathonFoto’s website after the race to access and purchase your photos.
NYRR Run for the Future

If you are unable to pick up your materials, a friend or family member may pick them up for you. Race souvenirs are subject to availability. There will be no race-day registration or number (bib) pickup.
Bag check, located at Center Road in Central Park, will be open from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. There is no bag check at the start. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check, security, and getting to the start.
Race-Day Central will be located at the start in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, and runners may be screened by security at the entrance to Race-Day Central.
Start corrals will be on First Avenue north of East 44th Street and west of First Avenue on East 47th Street.
Mile 1: Start at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza on First Avenue at East 44th Street and head south. Turn right on East 42nd Street and head west. Turn right (north) onto Sixth Avenue just before the mile 1 marker.
Mile 2: Proceed up Sixth Avenue toward Central Park and turn right on Central Park South/West 59th Street. Just before the mile 2 marker, turn left into Central Park at Grand Army Plaza.
Mile 3: Proceed into the park, then turn left onto West Drive. Curve around the bottom of the park toward the TCS New York City Marathon finish line, on West Drive at 67th Street.

All race information is subject to change.
Awards will be available to the top three men and women overall, as well as in age and gender groups as explained in this article. A list of all award winners will be posted in the results for each race.
Award winners who wish to receive an award plaque should complete our online claim form.
