You’re not just an armchair quarterback. On February 2, get your own game on! Start the big day by testing your arm strength in the Longest Football Throw contest from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Bring your kids to enjoy the football fun, too! They can toss the ball to show up the adults.
Once you've proven your passing game, you can work on your running game with four miles in Central Park to burn off some pre-game energy. Wear your favorite team's jersey to show your spirit and vote with your feet for that night's champion at our prediction counter near the two-mile mark.
After competing with your arm and then with your legs, you’ll have earned that seat to watch the game!
The FLAG Art Foundation
The FLAG Art Foundation, founded in 2008 by art patron Glenn Fuhrman, is a non-profit exhibition space that encourages the appreciation of contemporary art among a diverse audience. FLAG invites a broad range of creative individuals to curate exhibitions and works in-depth with artists to provide curatorial support and a platform to realize their own solo exhibitions. Based in the heart of Manhattan’s Chelsea art district, FLAG and all of its related program are free and open to the public.
Swiss-born artist Nicolas Party was commissioned by the Foundation to design the 2020 NYRR Gridiron 4M T-shirt. His solo exhibition “Pastel” is on view at FLAG (545 W. 25th Street, 9th floor) through February 15, 2020.
Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!
