About

NYRR Retro 4-Miler race logoDon your favorite old-school running gear and take a walk—no, a run—down Memory Lane at the NYRR Retro 4-Miler. This is a throwback-themed race in the perfect spot—Central Park—where many iconic moments in running have occurred!

Be on the lookout for our vintage lead car, old-school running gear, and other surprises. In the spirit of historical races, the course won’t feature clocks at each mile; instead, staff will call out splits just like back in the day!

Arrive early on race day for some throwback stretches and calisthenics. There will also be a post-race festival, located at the Naumburg Bandshell.

Whether this is your first race or your 500th, come out for an unforgettable day of running.

Live Results

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and get unofficial results right after the race!
