To participate in NYRR Virtual Racing Powered by Strava, create your free Strava account, sign up for a race, and run or walk the distance of the race on a course you select wherever you are.

Train with NYRR
Train with us for your Virtual United Airlines NYC Half! Our NYRR Coaching Lab by Runcoach will set you up for success, whether your goal is to hit a PR or to reach the finish line of your first 13.1-mile race. You can join NYRR Coaching Lab virtually, from anywhere in the world, and do your training on your own time.
NYRR Coaching Lab by Runcoach is an app that provides you with a personalized training plan, access to NYRR coaches for insider training tips, and a dedicated coach for one-on-one guidance to help you cross your finish line. When you join the NYRR Coaching Lab team you will be supported by a global community of runners all working toward the same goal.
*Guaranteed Entry is not open to runners registered for the 2023 United Airlines NYC Half.
**Runners who previously had or currently have a Strava subscription cannot redeem a 30- or 60-day trial. Runners cannot redeem a Strava subscription trial more than once on their account. Learn more on Strava's web site.
^ Finishers will receive their finisher package in the mail at the address provided in their NYRR profile. Packages will be shipped after the race time frame. Domestic and international runners will be contacted via email once their finisher package is shipped and provided with a tracking number.
^^The 4 Out of 6 Program allows NYRR members who meet the eligibility requirements to gain guaranteed entry to the United Airlines NYC Half. Eligibility for entry to the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who completed four qualifying events in 2023 and had an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2023 4 Out of 6 Program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on October 9). The Virtual United Airlines NYC Half (Finisher Medal) is a designated virtual race that is a 4 Out of 6 Program qualifier. To earn a 4 Out of 6 credit for this virtual race, select the "Premium” tier” during registration.
