Event Alert System

NYRR has implemented a color-coded Event Alert System (EAS) for our races that will communicate the status of course conditions on race day. The levels range from Low (green) to Moderate (yellow) to High (red) to Extreme (black) based on the weather and other course conditions. On race day, the current EAS status will be communicated via color-coded flags at the start and finish areas and along the course at each medical station.

View the EAS chart with event conditions and recommended actions here.

Celebrate Your Finish

After you finish, you’ll receive a finisher medal and a Runner Recovery Bag Presented by Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). Runners are invited to stop by the HSS Runner Recovery Zone, where you can stretch and foam roll with the experts from HSS. The finish area is for runners only.

Post-Race Bag Pickup

Claim your checked bag at the Maimonides Park (formerly MCU Park) parking lot until 1:30 p.m. Bags that are not claimed will be transported to the NYRR RUNCENTER (320 West 57th Street in Manhattan) where they can be claimed starting on Sunday, May 21 between 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Family Reunion

Plan a location to reunite with your loved ones, as there may be cell service saturation. The RBC Brooklyn Half After-Party at Maimonides Park (8:00 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.) is a great place to reunite! Stadium sections will be marked with letters; you can arrange to meet at the letter corresponding to your last name, then relax, purchase refreshments, and enjoy live music and entertainment.
