Gotytom Gebreslase
In her marathon debut in 2021 Gotytom Gebreslase won the Berlin Marathon and followed it up with gold at the World Athletics Championships Marathon in 2022, setting a championship-record time of 2:18:11.
She found herself on the podium a few months later during her TCS New York City Marathon debut, finishing in third place in 2:23:39.
Gebreslase returned to the World Athletics Championships Marathon in 2023 with a runner-up finish.
Most recently she placed third in the Great Manchester Run behind Medina Eisa and Emily Sisson, the latter of who will be lining up for the 2025 Mastercard New York Mini 10K.
