The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon saw more than 55,000 runners journey through the five boroughs of NYC, making it the largest marathon of all time. They were cheered on by over 2 million spectators and supported by 10,000 volunteers on an ideal running day. This year’s champions are Daniel Romanchuk (1:36:31) and Susannah Scaroni (1:48:05), both of the United States, in the wheelchair divisions, and Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands (2:07:39) and Sheila Chepkirui of Kenya (2:24:35) in the open divisions.
