There are a variety of ways to gain entry into New York Road Runners’ races.
NYRR Races
Most of our races are available for registration online through our website or in person at the NYRR RUNCenter featuring the New Balance Run Hub until the race capacity has been met. Please note that these races are in high demand and tend to reach capacity quickly.
To receive advance registration for all in-person non-drawing races (excluding NYRR Team Championships 5M), sign up for Member Plus membership here.

Signature Races with Drawings and Other Entry Methods
There are a number of methods to apply for entry into NYRR’s races with a drawing, and more information can be found on those methods on the race pages for the TCS New York City Marathon, the United Airlines NYC Half, and the RBC Brooklyn Half. All NYRR races with a drawing feature a member-only second chance drawing.
Drawing
Runners who do not have guaranteed entry to the one of our marquee races (United Airlines NYC Half, RBC Brooklyn Half, and the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon) can apply to the non-guaranteed general entry drawing during the application period, and the drawing for these entries will take place following the application period.

Current members of New York Road Runners who apply to a non-guaranteed general entry drawing for an in-person race (which includes the TCS New York City Marathon, United Airlines NYC Half, and the RBC Brooklyn Half) will automatically be entered into the NYRR Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing.
