Running the MLB 5K + Fun Run in Prospect Park on July 13? Please note the different bib pickup location here.
Young Runners uses a team-based structure to help kids learn valuable lessons about how to set goals and make activity part of their daily lives. With the help of their coaches, students learn to run distances from 1 to 6.2 miles. While physically challenging, the Young Runners program is designed for children of all fitness and athletic levels in grades 3-12.
NYRR provides Young Runners for free to all New York City public schools. It is also available for free to youth clubs and before- and after-school programs in underserved communities.
