1. Getting Started

As a Young Runners Program Lead, you are in charge of the overall administration of the program at your site. NYRR assigns one of our Field Coordinators to assist you, and the Field Coordinator is your main point of contact with us.

New Young Runners

 The Young Runners Start-Up Kit will include the followin:

  • Measuring Wheel
  • Clipboard
  • Stopwatch
  • Whistle
  • Batons (4)
  • Half Cones (10)
  • First Aid Kit
  • T-shirt Sizing Chart
  • Duffle Bag
  • Water Bottle
  • Ice Pack

If any of these items are missing from your kit, contact your Field Coordinator or email us at [email protected].

Returning Young Runners

This year all returing sites will recieve a Returning Kit.  It will include:

  • Band Aids
  • Duffle Bag
  • Water Bottle
  • Baseball Cap
  • Box and Sticker
  • Ice Pack
