Take on this one-of-a-kind race! 37.2 miles total, that's nine loops around Central Park!
Please make sure you're properly trained for this challenging distance. The event will have a time limit of 9 hours and 30 minutes. The course will close at 5:30 p.m.
We'll provide a clear bag and label (with your bib number) to runners who want to access their own food and beverages during the event. You'll hand in this bag at pickup and it will be placed on our nutrition station table at 102nd Street Cross Drive. This bag is for food and drinks only. If you leave unattended bags or items at another park location, they may be confiscated by NYPD and race security staff.
Please note: This race does not count toward the 9+1 program.
Numbers (which include your timing tag) and T-shirts may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates:

Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need your QR code (printed or digitally) and will need to know your shirt size. This policy is in effect for all our races except the TCS New York City Marathon.

Bag check will be available west of the start/finish area on the 102nd Street Transverse.
The race will start at 8:00 a.m. sharp, so allow ample time to check in, and be aware that street parking may be difficult. The personal food drop is adjacent to the baggage area.
The race starts in Central Park on the 102nd Street Transverse and East Drive with a counter-clockwise 5.2-mile loop, followed by eight four-mile counterclockwise “inner” loops.
Loop 1 (5.2 miles): Start on 102nd Street Cross Drive. Head north towards the 102nd Street Cross Drive. Turn left onto the 102nd Street Cross Drive. Turn left onto West Drive and run south through a series of three rolling hills as you pass the Reservoir on your left. Enjoy a downhill, then a flat section. Loop around the bottom of Central Park and begin running north on East Drive. Ascend Cat Hill and continue north back to the start/finish line at 102nd Street Cross Drive.
Loops 2-9 (4 miles each): Continue past the start/finish line, running north on East Drive, and make a left turn onto the 102nd Street Cross Drive. Head west on the 102nd Street Cross Drive and turn left onto West Drive. Follow West Drive over a series of rolling hills, followed by a downhill, and then a flat section. Turn left onto the 72nd Street Transverse, and then make another left at East Drive to ascend Cat Hill. Continue north back to the start/finish line 102nd Street Cross Drive. Run this loop a total of eight times to complete the 60-kilometer distance.
Water will be available on the course. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit, and snacks will also be available.
Finisher items will be given to all runners who complete the 60K. There are no age-group award categories.
