Festivities will be held throughout the day—including a Rising New York Road Runners event with free, shorter-distance races for younger athletes—and will culminate with a post-race festival as the sun sets.
All information is subject to change.

This policy is in effect for all NYRR races except the TCS New York City Marathon.
On race day, numbers will be available for pickup from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Race-Day Central; please note that souvenirs may not be available at race-day pickup.

Help Reduce Single-Use Plastic Waste
Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed. Learn more.
Check back soon for information about the course route.
In the interest of safety, and to allow Jersey City streets to reopen as scheduled, the NYRR Newport Fiesta 5K will have a time limit and participants must be able to maintain a 13:45-per-mile pace (based on the time when the last runner crosses the start line). Participants may choose to continue running on the sidewalks, but they should be aware that fluid stations and other course amenities may not be available, although they will be able to cross the finish line. These runners may not be recorded as official finishers; they can email email@example.com to request TCS New York City Marathon 9+1 program qualifying credit for the race. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.
Awards will be available to the top three men and women overall, as well as in age and gender groups as explained in this article. A list of all award winners will be posted in the results for each race.
Award winners who wish to receive an award plaque should complete our online claim form.
Athletes who have been suspended for doping by a governing body are not eligible to participate in, and should not apply for entry in, NYRR races. Extenuating circumstances may be reviewed by the NYRR Race Director.
