About

Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture at this four-mile race in Central Park, now in its 13th year. The race and accompanying Rising New York Road Runners event are part of Japan Day @ Central Park, which starts immediately after the Japan Run and features a variety of Japanese food, activities, and stage performances over the course of the day.

Live Results

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org and in the NYRR app. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!

Kids' Races

Bring the whole family out with our Rising New York Road Runners at Japan Run. Entry is free for all participants and activities begin at 9:30 a.m.
