- Both Men and Women
Join NYRR and Achilles International for a one-mile walk through Central Park, celebrating the spirit that brings together athletes with disabilities and able-bodied athletes.
Achilles International was established in 1983 with a mission to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream running events in order to promote personal achievement.
Visit the Achilles International web site to learn more about the organization and to make a donation.

Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on race day. Race-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. Shirt sizes are subject to availability; please note that shirts may not be available at race-day pickup.
If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need your QR code (printed or digitally). This policy is in effect only for our weekly races, and not for the TCS New York City Marathon.
On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central in Central Park from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m for the walk. If you pick up on race day, please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race-Day Central to the start.
Bag check, located on Center Road in Central Park, will be open from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security.
The walk will begin on Central Park's East Drive at approximately 68th Street and head south. It will loop around the bottom of Central Park and continue north on West Drive. You will finish by Tavern on the Green. The course is flat to gently rolling throughout.
