Please have your NYRR Member Number (available on your NYRR member card or in My NYRR) or download the NB App and show your Gold status at time of engraving. Can’t make it? Send a proxy to have your medal engraved; they’ll just need your NYRR Member Number.
Finishers who are not NYRR members can purchase an NYRR membership through their My NYRR account, and will be able to have their medal engraved after becoming an NYRR member. Visit our Membership page for more details on NYRR membership levels and prices.
Alternatively, runners can learn how to become a myNB Rewards Gold Member to receive free medal engraving.

2. Subway Updates
We strongly encourage participants to take public transportation to and from the race. For up-to-date information and to plan your race-day transportation, please visit MTA Weekender, follow @NYCTSubway on Twitter, and register for text alerts.
Take the #4 or D train to 161 Street–Yankee Stadium.
#4 Train
The #4 will be split and riders will have to transfer at 125th Street between the two portions of the route.
D Train
The Southbound/downtown (Manhattan-bound) D will operate express between Bedford Park Blvd and 135th Street. Riders will need to take the northbound/uptown D to Tremont Avenue and transfer to a southbound/ downtown D.
Other planned diversions in the Bronx include:
--The northbound #1 is operating express between Dyckman and 242nst Street
--The #5 is replaced by a bus between Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street

More than just five races, the Five-Borough Series—the United Airlines NYC Half, the Popular® Brooklyn Half, the NYRR Queens 10K, the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile, and the NYRR Staten Island Half—is a celebration of what makes each borough unique, inspiring, and an amazing place to get out and get moving!

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org and in the NYRR app. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Eligibility for entry to the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2018 NYRR Five-Borough Series (NYRR Staten Island Half in October), and who run four of the following six events in 2018:

Parking
For those looking to drive to the event, parking will be available at the Bronx locations listed below at the listed rates.* Please note that payment must be made by credit or debit card. Plan to arrive no later than 6:30 a.m. to ensure enough time to get to your corral on time.
950 River Avenue (below East 164th Street): $42
70 East 153rd Street (at River Avenue): $40
30 East 161st Street (Ruppert Plaza Garage): $42 (open 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) This is the location closest to the Rising New York Road Runners at the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service
For participants taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing service, please use Gate 4 at Yankee Stadium as your drop-off location to avoid road closures.
Members of the NYRR Pace Team will guide participants toward specific goal times over the 10 miles. There will be signs in the corals starting at 7:00 per mile. If you choose to run with a pace group, pacers—you’ll recognize their blue and white striped tanks—will carry signs that correspond with the finish times and paces below:

Boys and girls are invited to take part in some field-day-style fun at Rising New York Road Runners at the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile. Registration is open for youth ages 2 to 18 of all ability levels, so sign your kids up today and give them the chance to run the dash, tackle our obstacle course, and enjoy other fun fitness games and activities in Macombs Dam Park.
Photos will be captured and provided by Gameface a couple of days following the race. Visit gameface.photos/events and search for the race name to receive access to your photos. Digital copies can be downloaded for free and prints will be available for purchase.
