Annie Frisbie USA

Annie Frisbie made a name for herself in the running world last year as the halfway leader at the TCS New York City Marathon; she finished the race in seventh place as the third American woman behind Molly Seidel and Kellyn Taylor. Her time of 2:26:18 was the fourth-fastest debut by a U.S. woman and the fourth-fastest time ever for a U.S. woman on the five-borough course.

Prior to running in New York, Frisbie took third place at the 2021 USATF 10K Championships in Atlanta last summer with a personal-best time of 32:06.

Frisbie is a Wisconsin native who attended Iowa State University, where she was an All-American in cross country. She turned pro after graduation, joining Minnesota Distance Elite in 2019 and now trains in Minneapolis. She works 40 hours per week as a graphic designer for a healthcare startup.
