Created in collaboration with a team of expert youth coaches and exercise physiologists, these activities can be used individually, incorporated into an existing practice routine, or used to craft one's own running session.
Teach a unit on running in your P.E. class with NYRR's new lesson plans. Created for elemetary school educators, this new curriculum with more than 25 lessons will improve children's ability to run plus their overall coordination and athleticsm. They can be used on their own or incorporated into another sports unit.
Turnkey training plans help teachers and coaches prepare kids for the sport of running. Use the track and field training plans to introduce elementary and middle school students to track and field. Forthcoming plans for high schoolers will prepare them for the mile, 5K, and 10K.
