Running is the basis for many sports in addition to being an excellent activity on its own. Most people assume running is an innate skill, but as a P.E. teacher you know that efficient, injury-free running is actually an acquired skill.
NYRR will soon debut a new running curriculum to teach running in elementary school physical education classes. Created bv running and P.E. experts and supported by NYRR's award-winning videos, these lessons can be used to teach running as a specific skill set within your PE curriculum, either as a separate unit or as part of another sport unit.
