This annual NYRR event, which also includes a 1.7-mile Remembrance and Prevention Walk, is an opportunity for runners and walkers, friends and relatives, survivors and those fighting colon cancer to raise awareness and funding to combat this preventable but often fatal disease. Funds raised directly support The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation’s mission of supporting research, education, and screenings. Brisk spring weather made for good racing conditions as 2,445 participants finished the 4-mile and another 2,409 made it through 15K (9.3 miles). [4M Results] [15K Results] |
