| It was a great Saturday morning to run a 10K in Central Park. Runners who took on the NYRR Dash defied the humid conditions and beat the sporadic weekend rain. As the sun shone, finishers enjoyed the company of thousands. The frozen fruit bars tasted great after 6.2 miles of running! |
 Friends met on the grass to catch up before the 9:00 a.m. run. |

 Kyoungi Park and Ayumi Suzuki wished each other luck before the race. |
 They were off—thousands of men and women ready to run! |
