| This earth-friendly event, which included a four-mile run and kids’ races, celebrated the initiative by Central Park Conservancy (CPC) and NYRR to keep NYC green. Participants ran or walked the course through their beloved park as they enjoyed one of the greenest sports around. |
 On a sultry Saturday morning, runners dressed for the summer heat. |
