The seventh annual fitness® Mind, Body, Spirit Games in Central Park on September 6 was more than just a race. Men competed first, at 8:30 a.m., followed by women in a separate event an hour later, and then kids’ races for the 12-and-under set. The day also featured a blues band, an opportunity to shoot baskets with WNBA stars, the presentation of a $10,000 check to a worthy cause, and an exciting raffle. All this and more made for a lively celebration of fitness by people of all ages.
