Transitioning from Indoor to Outdoor Running

Every year at “transition time,” when runners switch from indoor to outdoor training, the number of injuries increases. Running outside and running on a treadmill are not exactly the same, and the shift from one to the other can lead to injury. Explore the causes, prevention, and treatment of these injuries.
