General Class Policies

The following policies apply to all NYRR classes unless otherwise specified. If you have any questions, please call 212-860-4455 x304.


Registration

All classes are open to NYRR members and non-members. Members are entitled to reduced fees (approximately 10% off). Advance registration is required unless otherwise specified. You may only attend the nights for which you register unless given prior permission by the program director. We do not send confirmations. However, we will notify you if your application is not accepted. Your canceled check or credit card statement is your receipt. Class locations and times may be adjusted. We will notify you of any changes in classes you register for. We reserve the right to remove students for not following guidelines or for inappropriate behavior.


Fees

We accept credit cards or checks (payable to NYRR) as payment. (Running Classes: A late fee of $15.00 will be assessed for the May session on May 14th, for the July session on July 23 and for the October session on October 1st.)


Refunds and Transfers

All refund and transfer requests must be made by the midway point of the program and approved by the program director. To request a refund or transfer, email to classes@nyrr.org, fax to 212.831.1950, or mail to NYRR, 9 East 89th Street, New York, NY 10128, Attn: Classes. Notifying a class instructor at the program, or failing to attend class does not constitute official withdrawal. An administrative fee of $20 will be charged on all refunds. Please allow up to six weeks for processing.


Personal Items

NYRR, the class instructors, and hosting venues are not responsible for your personal items.
