NYRR Strength and Flexibility

What is NYRR Strength and Flexibility?
NYRR Strength and Flexibility classes have been designed by Wharton Performance to strengthen and increase flexibility in joints and body parts most impacted by running and to help prevent or recover from common running injuries. Each class lasts four weeks and includes 30 minutes of general flexibility exercises followed by 20 minutes of strengthening that targets a specific area. By taking the class for three consecutive months, runners will progress through the whole series of strengthening exercises.
