Anthony Famiglietti burst out of the gate to take an immediate lead.	Craig Mottram, however, quickly overtook the pack.	Mottram in front.	After the first mile, Mottram began to extend his lead.
Mottram continued to put distance between himself and Linus Maiyo.	It soon began clear that he was racing only against himself.	He took the tape a mere 3 seconds short of the Central Park record in 28:13.	Mohammed Farah finished in second in 28:37.
Anthony Famiglietti was third in 28:40.	Linus Maiyo faded to finish fourth in 28:46.	Mohamad Amyn was fifth in 29:01.	Jason Hartmann was Sixth in 29:05.
