Daily Tips
In less than two weeks, you’ll be standing at the starting line of the 2009 NYC Half-Marathon. Your journey will start in Central Park, take you through Times Square, and lead you down the West Side Highway to finish in Battery Park. You’ll be running along with more than 10,000 other participants, including Olympians Deena Kastor and Catherine Ndereba, and your experience will be unlike any other.
Each business day from now until the race, we’ll be releasing a new daily tip—10 in total—to get you psyched and prepared with valuable information. Every tip will include direct advice from some of the professional athletes competing in this year’s race so you can feel just as prepared as the pros on race day.
