Race Scoring

This race is timed using the ChronoTrack timing system. This system is similar to the ChampionChip system previously used in NYRR races in that each runner will wear a timing device on their shoe that will be read by mats at the start and finish. However, the timing device will be a d-tag that you will receive attached to your bib number. You must remove the d-tag from your number and attach it to your shoe prior to the race, following the instructions that you will receive with the bib. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE D-TAG IS ATTACHED CORRECTLY. The d-tag is disposable; it will not be collected after the race. All participants in this race must wear the d-tag in order to have their times recorded. If you own a ChampionChip, you must run with the special d-tag, as no ChampionChip timing equipment will be used at this race. For additional information from ChronoTrack, please click here. Please follow the instructions in your race packet on attaching the d-tag to your shoe.
