NYRR Half-Marathon Grand Prix Presented by Continental Airlines: Brooklyn

Drivers should consider "Driving the Family to the Finish” where NYRR will provide free transportation to the start (first bus 5:45 a.m., last bus 7:00 a.m.). $10 parking for ALL DAY.

To Coney Island (the Finish) by Car

KeySpan Park parking lot ($10 fee to park in the lot all day)

From East: Take the Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6S). At light, make right onto Cropsey Avenue, and proceed approximately 1 mile, as Cropsey turns into W17th Street. The ballpark is directly ahead.

From West: Take Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6). At light, make right onto Cropsey Avenue, and proceed approximately 1 mile, as Cropsey turns into W17th Street. The ballpark is directly ahead.

NYRR will provide a free shuttle bus service from Keyspan Park parking lot to Prospect Park (one-way) starting at 5:45 a.m. and ending 7:00 a.m.  Shuttle bus will pick up on Surf Ave between W17th and W18th. This is a one way shuttle for runners only.

To Coney Island (the Finish) by Subway

To reach KeySpan Park by subway: Take the D train, F train, N train, or Q train to the last stop, Coney Island/Stillwell Avenue. At the corner of Stillwell and Surf Avenues (where Nathan’s is located), turn right. Walk two blocks west along Surf Avenue to KeySpan Park. Visit mta.info for weekend travel advisories.

To Coney Island (the Finish) by Bus

To reach KeySpan Park by bus: Take the B36, B64 or B74 bus, or the Coney Island-bound B82 bus, to Stillwell Avenue and Surf Avenue. Then, walk two blocks west along Surf Avenue to KeySpan Park.

To Prospect Park (the Start) by Public Transportation

The following subways are located near the Park:
· F train at 7th Ave. station, 15th St./Prospect Park station and Fort Hamilton Parkway station.
· 2 or 3 train at Grand Army Plaza station.
· Q train at Parkside Ave. station and Prospect Park station.
· S train at Prospect Park station.
· B train at Prospect Park station.

The following bus lines stop near the Park:
· B41 or B71 along Flatbush Ave. to Grand Army Plaza or Ocean Ave.
· B69 along Prospect Park West.
· B75 along 9th St. to Prospect Park West.
· B68 along Coney Island Ave./Prospect Park Southwest to Park Circle or Bartel-Pritchard Circle.

To Prospect Park (the Start) by Car

From Westchester, the Bronx and points north:
· Take 87 South to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.
· Take Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (278) west to Brooklyn.
· Take Tillary St. Exit.
· Turn left on Flatbush Ave.
· Stay on Flatbush to Grand Army Plaza, bear right for Prospect Park West. For Wollman Rink, proceed through circle to continue south on Flatbush Ave. Make right on Ocean Ave. and enter the Park at the Parkside/Ocean Ave. entrance.

From New Jersey, Staten Island and points south:
· Take the Verrazano Bridge to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (278).
· Take the Prospect Expressway to the 10th Ave. exit.
· Turn left on 11th Ave. to Prospect Park Southwest. For Wollman Rink, turn right on Prospect Park Southwest to Park Circle. Follow Circle to Parkside Ave. Enter Park at the Parkside/Ocean Ave. entrance.

From New Jersey, Manhattan and points west:
· Take Manhattan Bridge to Flatbush Ave., or take the Brooklyn Bridge, make left on Tillary St. and right on Flatbush Ave.
· Stay on Flatbush to Grand Army Plaza, follow signs for Prospect Park West. For Wollman Rink, proceed through circle to continue south on Flatbush Ave. Make right on Ocean Ave. and enter the Park at the
Parkside/Ocean Ave. entrance.

From Long Island:
· Take the Long Island Expressway (495) west to Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west towards Brooklyn.
· Take Tillary St. exit
· Turn left on Flatbush Ave.
· Stay on Flatbush to Grand Army Plaza, bear right for Prospect Park West. For Wollman Rink, proceed through Circle to continue south on Flatbush Ave. Make right on Ocean Ave. and enter the Park at the Parkside/Ocean Ave. entrance.
· From Belt Parkway, take Ocean Parkway north exit to Park Circle.
