About NYJL
The New York Junior League is committed to reducing the incidence of domestic violence and child abuse by educating the community on what can be done to keep families safe and empowering those who have survived domestic violence. One in four women will experience physical or sexual assault at the hands of an intimate partner, often when children are present or in harm’s way. The NYJL invites you to combat these statistics and help erase domestic violence in New York City. For more information about NYJL, visit www.nyjl.org/mothersdayrace.
