NYRR and Front Runners—a running club for lesbians, gay men and supportive others—team up once again this year to produce the 26th annual Pride Run, a five-mile race in Central Park. With prize money offered for top male and female finishers, this race draws some of the best competition in town. And by taking part, you not only become part of a fun-filled and colorful morning, but also get in a terrific workout. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Charitable Foundation of Front Runners New York, Inc. which supports those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and other life-threatening illnesses or catastrophic losses.
