Congratulations! In less than two weeks, you will step to the starting line of the 2007 NYC Half-Marathon Presented by NIKE. Billed as the next big thing in New York City running, this is a race like no other, featuring a course through Central Park and the heart of Manhattan, including Times Square, and down the West Side Highway to a spectacular finish in Battery Park. You’ll be led by a world-class field of professional runners including the incomparable Haile Gebrselassie and defending champion Catherine Ndereba. Along the way, you and 10,000 fellow runners will experience first-rate live entertainment, support from three Nike Cheering Zones, and much more, and will enjoy an exciting post-race festival in Battery Park. It’s all coming your way on August 5.
