A family affair! Friends and family make the day complete by supporting Lauren Esposito of the Nike Central Park Track Club (CPTC) ran alone in the late stages. |

Esposito’s victory in 1:22:19 was convincing, and it led the CPTC women to the open team title. |

Allison Lind, also of CPTC, was the runner-up; her time of 1:22:42 was excellent for the unseasonably warm conditions. |

Catha Mullen, who finished third among women in 1:22:47, led the open women of the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) to a runner-up finish. |

Shoe 4 Africa’s Jamie Sutherland finished fifth (first in the 30-39 age group) in a time of 1:25:21. |

Andrea Costella digs deep late in the race; she grabbed sixth place with her 1:25:33 finish. |

Former Boston College standout Megan Guiney, another top NYAC runner, placed ninth in 1:27:19. |

Lesley Higgins, an aspiring Olympic steeplechaser, rounded out the women’s top 10 in 1:27:47; she was the fifth NYAC scoring runner. |

At age 46, Westchester Track Club’s Cindy Pomeroy ran 1:28:58 to take top honors among masters women. |
