exclusively for women age 40 and over, started under ideal conditions
in New York's Central Park. |

Susan Loken, 43, of Phoenix, AZ, covered the challenging five-loop
course in a spectacular time of 2:47:52. |

Loken ran unchallenged and defended her 2006 title; she also won in 2005. |

It's a three-peat! Loken is among the top 30 female U.S. marathon
runners and one of the best masters (over 40) competitors in the
world. |

Gordon Bakoulis, 46, of New York City and a member of Moving
Comfort New York, placed second in 3:11:24. |

Peggy Nelson-Panzer, 45, of Aurora, CO, was third with a time of
3:16:55. |

Placing fourth was Runners Edge Striders' Debbie Cuttitta, 40, of
Bellmore, NY. |

At age 42, Jennifer Casey ran an impressive 3:35:58 to finish
sixth in the marathon. |

Hilary Goodman, 44, of Dresher, PA, was the seventh-place finisher
in the marathon (3:38:31). |

Fifty-year-old Tara Ding of Chatham, NJ, and the Sneaker Factory,
finished eighth in 3:43:32. |

Carol Farrell, 50, of Breezy Point and Shore Road Striders, was
10th, coming in at 3:46:46. |

Danielle Hansen, 42, of Brooklyn and Prospect Park Track Club,
took 11th place in 3:47:54. |

Forty-year-old Bridget Cohen traveled from her home in Matthews,
NC, to capture 16th place in 3:51:46. |
