Kids' Races (ages 2–12) begin at 9:30 a.m., and all kids should line up for their race on Center Road by 9:25 a.m. Entry is free for all participants.
Kids' race participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt, not a pair of running shoes. Runners do not need to be participants in NYRR youth programs in order to participate in the kids' races. Participants in these kids' races are not the beneficiaries of the 1 for You 1 for Youth shoe donation.
Please note that parents/guardians of children ages 5 and older will not be permitted to enter the course; all parents should meet their children after their races in the reunion area and must have the claim tag located on the bottom of their bib number. No child will be released to an adult without a claim tag.
Check out our guidelines for NYRR youth events before race day.
