Please note: This race is not part of our four-out-of-six program for the NYRR Five-Borough Series. There are no finisher medals for this event. Runners cannot register for both the NYRR Five-Borough Series: Queens 10K and the NYRR Queens 5K.

The park roads will be closed at 7:15 a.m. in preparation for the race. All vehicles must be off the streets and parked by this time. Race-day parking is available at Citi Field from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a flat rate of $23, the game-day rate, as the Mets are scheduled to play. A pre-paid parking pass can also be purchased for $23 (credit card only) during bib pick-up at the Annex and will allow for expedited entrance into Citi Field parking lots on race morning. This parking pass is for Citi Field parking lots E and F and Southfield via gates 3, 16, and 17.

The NYRR Queens 5K takes place entirely within Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Mile 1: Start on Meridian Road between the Avenue of Discovery and Rodman Walk. Continue on Meridian Road, passing the one-mile mark just beyond the Queens Museum.
Mile 2: Continue on an out-and-back loop on Meridian Road and Shea Road, bearing left around each traffic circle. Soon after crossing under the 7 train tracks, turn onto the other side of the road and follow Shea Road and Meridian Road in the opposite direction.
Mile 3: Follow Shea Road and Meridian Road, turning left onto United Nations Avenue North. Continue past the USTA National Tennis Center and turn right onto Astronaut Court toward the Unisphere. Continue clockwise around the Unisphere, adding a short outside loop one-quarter of the way around. Follow the road back toward Astronaut Court and the Dwight Eisenhower Promenade, and turn left toward the finish on the Avenue of Commerce.
A pre- and post-race festival will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the fields located right past the Finish Line and Race Day Central. The morning of family-friendly fun includes live music, ice cream, food trucks, carnival games, face painting, and more.
