The third race in the 2016 NYRR Five-Borough Series brings runners to beautiful Flushing Meadows Corona Park for a flat, fast 10K with an early-summer date! Runners kicking off their training for the TCS New York City Marathon or any fall marathon will love this event. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is easily reached by public transportation, and it's a great place to spend the day. All entrants will receive a tech tank top and all finishers will receive a medal.
The NYRR Five-Borough Series: Queens 10K is part of NYRR's Five-Borough Series: Run New York. Five Boroughs. One City. The NYRR Five-Borough Series showcases our renewed commitment to the individuals and communities in each borough. More than just five races, the Five-Borough Series—the United Airlines NYC Half, the Airbnb Brooklyn Half, the Queens 10K, the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile, and the Staten Island Half—is a celebration of what makes each borough unique, inspiring, and an amazing place to get out and get moving!
Looking for a shorter distance? Join us for the all-new NYRR Queens 5K! It's open now for registration and takes place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Please note: Runners cannot register for both the Queens 10K and the Queens 5K.
Event hashtag: #Queens10K—use it in your public tweets and Instagrams to be automatically entered into the NYRR Social Hashtag Challenge to win prizes!
Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!
