Beginning at 7:00 a.m. EST on February 10, My NYRR will be offline for system upgrades for approximately 90 minutes.
Celebrate health and longevity at this four-mile race in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Namesake Al Gordon exemplified NYRR’s motto, Run for Life. A standout track runner in college, Gordon had an 80-year career in finance and was an NYRR board member and benefactor. He started running marathons in his 80s and exercised regularly until the end of his life in 2009—at age 107. Lace up in Gordon's honor!
This event is no longer a members-only Classic Race. It is part of our 9+1 program for guaranteed entry to the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon.
Event hashtag: #AlGordon4M—use it in your tweets, Instagrams, and Facebook posts!
Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!

Please note that the NYRR Running Annex is closed on Monday, February 15, in observance of Presidents' Day.
On race day in Brooklyn, pickup will be at Race-Day Central on Center Drive in Prospect Park from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race-Day Central to the start. Bag check, located in the same place, will be open from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m.
Please pick up early in the week to avoid crowds. If you're unable to pick up your race number, a friend or family member may pick it up for you; the person will need to know your full name and date of birth. This policy is only for our weekly races, not for our marquee events.
Awards will be available to the top three men and women overall, as well as in age and gender groups as explained in this article. A list of all award winners will be posted in the results for each race.
