Kids' races (ages 2–12) begin at 9:45 a.m., and all kids should line up for their race on Center Road by 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $6 in advance and $8 on race day. Please note that parents/guardians of children ages 5 and older will not be permitted to enter the course; all parents should meet their children after their races in the reunion area and must have the claim tag located on the bottom of their bib number. No child will be released to an adult without a claim tag.
Check out our guidelines for NYRR kids' races before race day.
Numbers (which include your timing tag) and shirts for adults and kids may be picked up at the NYRR Running Annex at 322 Columbus Avenue (between West 75th and West 76th streets). Number pickup is offered Monday through Saturday for this race during the following hours:
Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on race day. Race-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. Shirt size is subject to availability; please note that shirts may not be available at race-day pickup.
On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central in Central Park from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. (8K race) and 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. (kids' races). Bag check, located at the northern end of Center Road, will be open from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m.
If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need your QR code (printed or digitally) and will need to know your T-shirt size. This policy is in effect only for our weekly races, not for the United Airlines NYC Half or the TCS New York City Marathon.
After your run, stick around for the post-race festival, offering music, dancing, great giveaways—including a trip to Paris on Air France—and a fun experience for the whole family!
Awards will be available to the top three men and women overall, as well as in age and gender groups as explained in this article. A list of all award winners will be posted in the results for each race.
