The venue is right on the water and includes five acres of recreational space and sports facilities, all with amazing views of Manhattan! Pick up your race materials, including your bib (which includes your timing tag), New Balance tech shirt, and official UPS bag-check bag that you can use to check your race-day clothing.

Runners and their supporters will be able to share their own local recommendations on the best restaurants, shops, bars, and attractions in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Backyard (Hospitality Elements and Photo Opportunities)
Airbnb will have lawn games, a large stoop for some great photo opportunities, and plenty of space if you’re just looking to relax.
Pre-Party attendees are invited to enjoy the many running paths available near Pier 2 and can store their belongings in lockers provided by Airbnb. The lockers will be located under the tent during the Pre-Party and will be open during event hours. Any belongings left at the lockers must be picked up the day they were dropped off. Items will not be stored overnight.
Along with the official Airbnb Brooklyn Half merchandise, the New Balance store will feature a number of other activities to check out.
Brooklyn Running Company
The Brooklyn Running Company is located in Williamsburg. They are Brooklyn’s only independently owned running specialty shop, and they are the borough’s footwear fitting experts. Their friendly team will be on site at the Pre-Party ready to serve all of your nutrition and accessory needs, offering a wide range of product from the latest Garmin watches, CEP Compression, RunGum, Spi-Belts, Nathan bottles, Trigger Point rollers, Body Glide, and more! (And maybe a few memento surprises.)
New Balance will be customizing race shirts on site for any participating runner. Runners will be offered the complimentary service to add a 10-character silver reflective tag to their race shirt. Hours from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the last race shirt drop-off will be at 9:00 p.m. each night.
Toby's Estate Coffee is a small batch roaster located in Brooklyn, New York. They travel the world sourcing coffee and celebrating quality and complexity. As roasters and baristas, they believe that each coffee can tell a story and they strive to share that in every cup. They will be serving up the full Toby’s Estate experience with their mobile coffee cart including espresso drinks, single origin pour overs, and cold brew.
Luster / Instaprint
Luster Hashtag Printers will be on-site at the Airbnb Brooklyn Half Pre Party Presented by New Balance! If you post a photo to Instagram with the hashtag #nbbrooklyn, it automatically prints out—and it's yours to keep, compliments of New Balance.

New Balance will be back with all the official New Balance-branded merchandise. The line includes running technical apparel, lifestyle apparel and the latest from the spring 2016 footwear collection. Make sure you get to the Pre-Party to check it all out.
The NYRR Coaches will be on-site every day in the NYRR Running Lab. They will be available to talk strategy and make sure you’re ready to go on race day. You don’t want to miss the NYRR Course Strategy Sessions that take place every hour on the hour, starting Wednesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m., and Friday at 12:00 p.m. The last session each day is at 9:00 p.m. Sessions last 30 minutes.
Tata Consultancy Services, NYRR’s Premier Partner, has teamed up with New York Road Runners to offer services designed to aid runners with their race day strategies. NYRR coaches will discuss the course turn-by-turn via Course Strategy Sessions powered by Tata Consultancy Services.
The NYRR Race Predictor, also powered by TCS, will take a runner’s inputted training details and accurately predict his or her finisher time. Pace bands will be available to help keep the runner on target throughout the race.
