You’re not just an armchair quarterback. On February 1, get your own game on! Start the big day by testing the strength and accuracy of your arm in the Longest Football Throw contest starting at 8:00 a.m. Then run four miles in Central Park to burn off some pre-game energy. Wear your favorite team’s jersey to show your spirit, and make your choice for the Big Game’s champion by running under their banner near the 2-mile mark on the 102nd Street Transverse. After competing with your arm and then with your legs, you’ll have earned that seat to watch the game!
Use MTA Trip Planner to plan your trip.
All race information is subject to change.

On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central in Central Park (see course map) from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. If you pick up on race day, please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race-Day Central to the start.
If you are unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need to know your full name and date of birth. This policy is only for our weekly races, not for our marquee events.
During cold winter months and in wet weather, stickers do not adhere well to the clear bags provided for baggage check. Rather than cracking the peel and adhering the sticker to the outside of the bag, runners who check a bag on race day should slip the sticker inside their clear bag with the number facing outward.
The male and female winners of the Longest Football Throw each are awarded a football-themed gift basket.
Age-group award winners will be notified via email after results are finalized.
