In 2015, the NYRR Five-Borough Series will once again finish with the Staten Island Half, a race dedicated to making a positive impact on the borough that hosts the start of the TCS New York City Marathon. Scheduled just three weeks before the TCS New York City Marathon, the Staten Island Half is a perfect tune-up for NYRR’s flagship event and features fabulous views of New York Harbor and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. New this year is the NYRR 5K at the Staten Island Half, which finishes at home plate in Richmond County Bank Ballpark, and is open now for registration.
The NYRR Five-Borough Series showcases our renewed commitment to the individuals and communities in each borough. More than just five races, the Five-Borough Series—the United Airlines NYC Half, the Airbnb Brooklyn Half, the Queens 10K, the Bronx 10-Mile, and the Staten Island Half—is a celebration of what makes each borough unique, inspiring, and an amazing place to get out and get moving! Come with us on a runner's journey through the five boroughs of NYC and experience what makes them special.
The Staten Island Half is a part of NYRR's Five-Borough Series: Run New York. Five Boroughs. One City.

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!
If you bike to the race, please follow our bike parking guidelines.
All race information is subject to change.
Eligibility for entry to the 2016 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2015 NYRR Five-Borough Series (Staten Island Half on October 11), and who run four of the following six events in 2015: Fred Lebow Manhattan Half, United Airlines NYC Half, Airbnb Brooklyn Half, Queens 10K, Bronx 10-Mile, and Staten Island Half.
Check out the map of the new and improved course, with a finish at home plate at Richmond County Bank Ballpark!
Three-Hour Time Limit: In the interests of safety, any Staten Island Half participant who is not able to maintain a 15:00-per-mile pace throughout the race (3:00 projected finishing time) will be picked up along the course starting at approximately mile 8 and transported to the finish. The time it takes the last runner to cross the start line (not including those who arrive late to the race) will be added to the overall 3:00 time limit, ensuring all participants a 15:00-per-mile pace. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.
