The third race in the 2014 NYRR Five-Borough Series brings runners to beautiful Flushing Meadows Corona Park for a flat, fast 10K with a new, early-summer date! Runners kicking off their training for the TCS New York City Marathon or any fall marathon will love this event. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is easily reached by public transportation, and it' a great place to spend the day. All entrants will receive a tech T-shirt and all finishers will receive a medal.

Please note that NYRR members who run four of the following six events in 2014 (Fred Lebow Manhattan Half, NYC Half, Brooklyn Half, Queens 10K, Bronx Run, and Staten Island Half) and have an active membership by year-end 2014 will be eligible for guaranteed entry to the 2015 NYC Half.
The Queens 10K takes place entirely within Flushing Meadows Corona Park and is almost completely flat.
Mile 1: Start on a walkway between the Unisphere and the Fountain of the Planets, head east toward the fountain, and run the left half of the path around it. Turn left and then right onto Perimeter Road, heading south. Pass the one-mile mark and look for Meadow Lake on your right.
Miles 2 and 3: Run completely around Meadow Lake.
Mile 4: Shortly after the three-mile mark, cross the Long Island Expressway on an overpass and turn left. Pass the Theatre in the Park and the Queens Museum.
Mile 5: Run an out-and-back to a turnaround near CitiField.
Mile 6: Approach the Unisphere, then circle it almost completely before turning right and running to the finish just before the Fountain of the Planets.

• Thursday, June 19,1:00–7:00 p.m.
• Friday, June 20, 1:00–7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, June 21, 11:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Shirt size is subject to availability. Please pick up on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday to avoid crowds. On race day, pickup will be at Race Day Central in Flushing Meadow Corona Park (see course map) from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. If you pick up on race day, please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race Day Central to the start.
Age-group awards will be available on site at the awards table after the race. Runners can check the awards sheet at the table and collect their award. Awards not collected on site will be available at NYRR.
