The course is the four-mile Central Park "inner loop."
Mile 1: Start on East Drive near East 68th Street and run north, ascending Cat Hill.
Mile 2: Continue north and and pass Engineers' Gate (East 90th Street). Turn left onto the 102nd Street Transverse.
Mile 3: Turn left onto West Drive and run south through a series of three rolling hills as you pass the Reservoir on your left.
Mile 4: Enjoy a downhill, then a flat section. Turn left onto the 72nd Street Transverse and finish just west of Bethesda Terrace.

Kids' races (ages 2–12) start at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $6 in advance and $8 on race day. Race-day registration for the kids' race opens at 9:00 a.m. and ends 15 minutes prior to the start.
Numbers (which contain your tag) and T-shirts may be picked up at NYRR (9 East 89th Street) on:
• Thursday, September 5, 1:00–7:00 p.m.
• Friday, September 6, 1:00–7:00 p.m.
Shirt sizing is subject to availability. Please pick up on Thursday or Friday to avoid crowds. On race day, pickup will be near the start in Central Park from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. (men's race) and 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (women's race).
If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick them up for you; the person will need to know your full name and date of birth. This policy is only for our weekly races, not for our marquee events.

Age-group awards will be available on site at the awards table located at the information tent after the race. Runners can check the awards sheet at the table and collect their award. Awards not collected on site will be available at NYRR on the Monday following the race.
