Baggage and Start Timeline

• 5:45 a.m. – Start corrals and baggage check open
• 6:45 a.m. – Baggage check closes
• 7:00 a.m. – Corrals close
• 7:20 a.m. – Wheelchair/Hand cycle Start
• 7:30 a.m. – Runner Start

Baggage Check

All participants will receive a clear bag at the expo, along with a sticker to put on the front of the bag. Runners may only check the clear plastic bag; no other bag will be accepted. Baggage check is located at the UPS baggage trucks on Fifth Avenue between 66th and 74th streets (lower numbers start at 66th Street; see map).; you must drop your bag at the UPS truck that corresponds with your baggage label. Your baggage will be transported to the finish.

Please check your bags between 5:45 and 6:45 a.m.; baggage will close promptly at 6:45 a.m.

Please allow enough time to drop off your baggage on the East Side and get to the race start on Central Park’s West Drive near 64th Street before the corrals close at 7:00 a.m. The start is located on Central Park’s West Drive near 64th Street.

Baggage Zones

Runners may enter Central Park from Fifth Avenue at three locations, according to bib number:

• 67th Street entrance for #1-4999
• 69th Street entrance for #5000-9999
• 72nd Street entrance for #10000-22999

Start Corrals

Runners are assigned to corrals according to their per-mile pace with faster runners in the front and slower runners in the rear. Each corral has a color code that corresponds to the color on the runner’s race number.

Runners who are assigned to different corrals but wish to start together may do so by going to the corral corresponding to the higher number.

Please note:

Absolutely no race numbers will be available on race morning
Trash receptacles will be at the UPS baggage trucks, in or near the start corrals, and along the course; please place all trash in the receptacles
Portable toilets will be available only in the start corrals; please use the toilets in your own corrals
There will be a Goodwill bin in each corral for clothing donation

NYRR reserves the right to disqualify anyone who does not line up in the appropriate corral, does not follow the instructions of race officials, does not use the
portable toilets, or does not stay within the delineated lanes along the course.

Baggage Claim

Runners may claim their bags at the designated baggage location in the post-finish area on Water Street between Fletcher Street and Fulton Street. All finisher baggage must be claimed by 12:00 noon. Unclaimed baggage will be transferred to New York Road Runners (9 East 89th Street) and will be available on Monday, March 18th. Baggage not claimed by March 24th will be donated to charity.
