Bring the whole family to the New York Giants Run of Champions 5K Presented by Walgreens and Duane Reade! Runners of all ages and abilities get a chance to live every Giants fan’s dream: running full-speed into the end zone in MetLife Stadium—without getting tackled! After the race, enjoy a behind-the-gridiron tour, meet Giants legends, and more.
The walk offers another opportunity to join the fun. Walkers follow the same course—high-stepping into the end zone is optional, but encouraged. A special VIP Package gives you breakfast before or after the race in the Toyota Coaches' Club and a chance to rub elbows with players.
This exciting event will benefit the Giants Foundation, which assists youth-related charities throughout the greater New York area.
Please note that strollers are allowed for the walk, but not for the run!
Please review our new enhanced security measures for NYRR races, and consider not bringing a bag to check.
NYRR's color-coded Event Alert System (EAS) will communicate the status of course conditions on race day via flags at the start and finish areas and along the course at each medical station.
Visit the NBC 4 New York and New York Giants Health and Fitness Expo at MetLife Stadium from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday! NYRR will be part of the Expo, hosting Mighty Milers kids' activities, a Youth and Community Services tent, and an NYRR tent each day.
MetLife Stadium parking will be free on race day. Road closures will begin at 8:30 a.m., so arrive before that time to take advantage of parking. Lots L and G are most convenient. If you arrive after 8:30 a.m., you'll be directed to the back entrance near the Meadowlands Racetrack (off Route 120).
Register in advance for free NJ TRANSIT train service between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for this event. Friends and family can also sign up in advance. Get all the details and read our FAQs. Register for transportation, and you'll be guaranteed a seat on your selected train. If you do not have your ticket for transportation, but you have registered for it, you will be allowed on the train.
The course circles the parking areas surrounding MetLife Stadium. It's almost completely flat and open. There will be no vehicular traffic on or near the course at the time of the race. In the final mile, the course approaches MetLife Stadium. Runners will enter the stadium at midfield and then run toward one end zone before circling and running the length of the field to the opposite end zone--high-stepping is optional, but encouraged!
