Top Teams Chase Bragging Rights

Running teams from all over the NYC area came out to battle for NYRR's top prize, the Team Points Trophy. Proudly showing their true colors, men and women from dozens of running clubs battled humidity and hills in this morning's Team Championships.

The Fastest Females in New York

New York's fastest women got up early for the NYRR Team Championships today, even though their race didn't start until an hour after the men's. They lined the Central Park course to cheer for the guys, who took off at 8:00 a.m., as the temperature began to rise. By the time the women started, they were not only battling the best of the best for team points, but also high heat and humidity.
