A Great Day in the Bronx

Like Yankee Stadium in 2009, the Bronx 10-Mile, the fourth race in the NYRR 5-Borough Series, had a new look this year after being converted from a half-marathon to a 10-miler. While some surely missed the 13.1-mile distance, most runners praised the wide-open, mostly flat course that stretched up the Grand Concourse, around Bedford Park, along the Mosholu Parkway, and back again.
